RTS performs work in most of the 48 contiguous states. We perform new construction, remodels, roll-outs and maintenance services for our clients. Tenant build outs are our focus. RTS completes numerous build-outs annually, from small-value, multi-store rollout programs to high-end, premier class A locations. We have over 30 years of combined project management experience. With that experience, we know what is required to overcome any obstacle or challenge in order to meet and exceed each one of our client’s schedule.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Once we receive an invitation to bid a project, our process starts with our Estimating team, as fast and accurate bids matter. They gather all pre-bid information necessary for the project lists and also obtain landlord requirements and local building department information.  In performing these tasks, it ensures that we are providing the most competitive bid for your project and are prepared with information to hit the ground running upon project release for a successful and on time turnover.

CONSTRUCTION

As soon as work begins, your RTS superintendent is onsite every day, monitoring construction details as well as the big picture. You enjoy the advantages of real-time reporting, rapid response to changes and the confidence that your project is moving smoothly ahead.

RTS Retail Construction services include:

POST CONSTRUCTION

Once construction has been completed, there are post construction needs that have to be handled – site walk through, punch list, warranty information, obtaining CO, provide close out documentation and numerous other items.  We desire a smooth transition between the construction phase to store operations. Service and warranty work for existing properties are part of our lasting relationships for current clients.

Common Retail Project Types:
Buildouts: A buildout involves a contractor demolishing the property on a space in order to rebuild one that fits the needs of the space’s new tenants.
Storefront: In a storefront project, a contractor is hired to remodel the front of a store in order to attract more foot traffic.
Remodels: Remodeling includes renovating and upgrading an existing space.
Rebranding: Rebranding, like remodeling, includes revamping an existing property. However, rebranding is less involved than remodeling and is focused on changing or upgrading the look of the client’s space.
Sustainability: A sustainability project is a project where the contractor helps a company update their space.
Turnkey: Turnkey projects involve a client hiring a contractor to build or remodel a company for the client to eventually sell.
Facilities maintenance: RTS has a knowledgeable in house office team that can handle day to day maintenance issues for your company.
